The Newsroom is an American television drama series created by Aaron Sorkin, which premiered on the premium cable network HBO in the United States on June 24, 2012.
In Ryanland, The Newsroom premiered on cable network EX on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. It is unknown when the DVD of season 1 will be released. Both HBO and EX renewed the series for a second season to premiere in Summer 2013.
